JANANI JANAKIRAMAN
Co-Founder and PR Director

Janani Janakiraman is passionate about addressing global poverty through youth-led initiatives. She serves on the board of the Youth Law Institute, which impacts 39 countries. At school, she’s an intern for the varsity speech and debate team and competes in Lincoln Douglas. Janani has taken business courses, participated in the Diamond Challenge and IPPF, and conducts research. She has also trained in Bharatanatyam for over nine years.

 
 

VIRAJA SHIVHARE
Co-Founder and Director of Outreach

Viraja Shivhare is a first-generation immigrant and Indian-American activist. She serves on the national board of organizations like the High School Democrats and works with San Jose City Council. Viraja is a prolific public speaker who’s recieved many acclaims through Lincoln Douglas Debate, where she is ranked #10 on DebateLand and NSD rankings in California. 

AANYA RAMASWAMY
Co-founder and Operational/Finance Lead

Aanya Ramaswamy is committed to driving impact through efficient planning and financial strategy. As the Operational and Finance Lead of Fuel the World, she oversees budgeting, logistics, and event coordination to ensure smooth execution of the nonprofit’s initiatives. Aanya has participated in the Diamond Challenge and the International Public Policy Forum, where she developed a strong foundation in argumentation and real-world problem solving. She also competes in Lincoln Douglas Debate, where she channels her passion for advocacy into action.

 
 
 

ARUSHI SHAH
Volunteer Coordinator

Arushi Shah is passionate about social justice and STEM. She participates in FRC robotics, in which she does outreach work to bridge the STEM gap. She is committed to helping the youth, whether it is through mentoring an FLL team and teaching children coding, or through Fuel the World’s efforts to help the malnourished. A confident public speaker, she competes in Lincoln Douglas Debate as well.

 

ADHARSH RAJESHKUMAR
Event Coordinator

Adharsh is deeply committed to civic engagement and passionate about encouraging others to get involved in their communities. He volunteers regularly at the Woori Center and actively participates in programs such as Youth Leadership to further his impact. Alongside his civic efforts, Adharsh is also dedicated to STEM, participating in HOSA and Science Olympiad, and gaining hands-on experience through internships at dental practices. In addition to his academic and community pursuits, he is a varsity tennis player.
